An exceptional cruise veteran that just spent one year of extended cruise in Mexico. It is a fine example of the popular center cockpit cruiser of which there were over 400 built. The KP 44 is arguably one of the best values for the price that is available anywhere. She is a fast sailing, comfortable, but capable offshore cruising cutter rigged yacht. The designer, Doug Petersen, who is known worldwide for his racing designs, not to mention the recent designs that have sent the ALD MUG to the Kiwi's, has provided a cruising yacht with modern concept that after 25 years of proven cruising still remains a cruising classic.
